Manuel Busetto

Venice, Italy, 1984

I’m a self-taught impressionist photographer working and living in Treviso, Italy.

My Italian background, my studies constantly built and then demolished count for little in the face of the immensity of life, the cosmos and its powerful and infinite rules.

Life presents a visible-material part, and an ethereal-abstract part, both wrapped in a bond of perpetual continuity that extends in both directions towards infinity.

At this time in my life, I find myself "expanding" time by decomposing photography sometimes to the point of its annulment, like an empty vase that can be filled with something new.

This condition allows me to investigate with clarity the flow of every moment that makes us land and in the same way the field of infinite possibilities available to us for becoming immortal.

The dimension of possibilities is a swirling coloured substance around which our consciousness navigates, where everything is possible.

The exaltation of colours is the celebration of life.

The subjects of my works are chosen with care and every form and colour are the natural expansion of reality.
